British grunge-punk band The Kut look ready to take on the world right about now! Not only have they just hit us with news of their longest ever UK tour, which includes dates up and down the country from July to October, but they have also just released the music video for awesome single ‘Bad Man’, featuring live shots to get us even more pumped for their upcoming tour!
‘Bad Man’ is the final single to be taken from the band’s Rock Paper Scissors EP, which can only mean one thing- new material soon, right?! The down ’n’ dirty riffs, ‘90s grunge vocals and filthy attitude of this basement trio brings together the perfect balance of new riotous rock bands, such as Marmozets, and lo-fi grunge-punk from years past, such as Hole and Veruca Salt. It’s refreshing to hear a band unafraid to crank it up a notch and, as far as we’re concerned, The Kut are leaps and bounds ahead of their peers when it comes to bold ferocity.
The Kut released their screaming EP Rock Paper Scissors way back in April 2015 and it’s seen them win slots at festivals such as Camden Rocks and Rebellion, not to mention release a string of killer singles ever since, including the final addition of latest video ‘Bad Man’. But we think it’s high time this band treated us to some fresh tunes but, of course, we’ll let them finish their massive summer tour first- and hopefully head out to a show ourselves to catch the last run of Rock Paper Scissors before the new chapter of The Kut arrives!
