Do you like your punk a little more raw? Does a touch of DIY music video work get you all riled up? Do you like gravelly voiced Scottish chaps who write genuinely good, catchy rock & roll tunes?

Did you answer yes to any of the questions just asked?

If so, it’s about time you met Cold Years.

It would be easy to associate these guys with bands like Gaslight Anthem and Rancid, but such comparisons seem lazy, no matter how apt they may be. Brand new single ‘DeathChasers‘ is the title track of the band’s forthcoming EP (dropping on the 13th of August via Aberdeen label, Fat Hippy Records) and is a slice of bleed-your-heart-out pop-punk, managing to travel down the cliched path of lyrics about being stuck in the same place for too long and wanting to break away, yet somehow delicately managing to side-step away from being just another cookie-cutter copy of the same shit you’ve heard a thousand times before. If this is basis of the EP, then we can;t wait to get our hands on a copy!

Still not convinced, why not take a listen and watch the simple, yet stunning new video from the aforementioned single below?

If you don’t like it, then you’re wrong!
