5 pop-punk albums that celebrate 10 years in 2017

Next year is looking set to be an amazing year for anniversary tours, as Slam Dunk Festival announces not one but two sets that will celebrate ten years of two iconic albums- Enter Shikari’s Take to the Skies and Cute Is What We Aim For’s The Same Old Blood Rush With a New Touch. Hopefully this sparks a trend, because there were some awesome albums released across alternative music in 2007, especially when it comes to pop punk. Here are just five albums we hope to bring back to life in 2017…

Fall Out Boy – Infinity on High

Following up from their explosive sophomore album From Under the Cork Tree, Fall Out Boy had to pull something pretty impressive out of the bag if they wanted to stay on top. Luckily they managed to overcome the tricky third album phase with the release of Infinity on High, widely regarded as one of their best releases to date. With singles such as ‘This Ain’t a Scene, It’s an Arms Race’ and ‘Thnks fr th Mmrs’, Infinity on High went onto cement Fall Out Boy’s place as one of the best pop-punk bands of the decade.
