You might have heard of Milk Teeth lately, perhaps from their stint at Slam Dunk Festival, their recent signing to Roadrunner Records or their latest announcement of a massive UK headline tour. But, if you haven’t, we’re here to tell you all about them and why you really ought to be checking them out!
Who are Milk Teeth?
Milk Teeth are a four-piece punk rock band based in Bristol who have been garnering a legion of loyal fans since their initial signing to Hopeless Records in 2015 (from which they moved on last month as they signed to impressive new label Roadrunner Records). They’ve been releasing EP after EP since then, culminating in the release of their full-length debut Vile Child, and are festival favourites in the UK, playing Download Festival last year and Slam Dunk Festival just a couple of weeks ago. After supporting Sorority Noise and Turnover on their US tour, they’re expected to release new EP Be Nice this July, and after their live performances and previous releases, we can’t wait to hear it!
What do Milk Teeth sound like?
The early ’90s grunge-rock sound remembered and loved by generations is one Milk Teeth have truly taken to heart. Their albums and EPs feature a combination of distorted, trippy instrumentals and complex yet catchy lyrics, and over the years of their career they’ve been experimenting with this while keeping up their signature style. Their tracks are upbeat yet dark under the surface, and they’re always thoroughly enjoyable.
