5 Artists We’d Love To See On Carpool Karaoke

Here at Drop This we’re in love with James Corden‘s Carpool Karaoke! I mean… we’re only human, right? So we started thinking about 5 artists we would like to see take part. Here’s what we came up with…

5) Mike Duce (Lower Than Atlantis)

Fans of British rock-outfit Lower Than Atlantis will be familiar with Mike Duce‘s unmistakable sense of humour, and his distinctive vocals of course. As frontmen go, Mike Duce is one of the most charismatic around on the scene at the minute. We’re sure him and James Corden would hit it off, and that they’d produce some unbelievable duets.

4) Oli Sykes (Bring Me The Horizon)

Hold on, of course we know this is beyond the realms of possibility, but we’d still love to see this happen (if only in our dreams). If you look past the logistical issues of James Corden having to duet with Sheffield’s heavy metal prince on an anthem like ‘Can You Feel My Heart’, or perhaps Corden taking on Josh Franceshci‘s part in ‘Fuck’, it’d sure be memorable.

3) Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters)

Surely the nicest man in rock ‘n roll is built for this? With a back catalogue perfect for the occasion, an infectious personality, and the wonderful ability to have fun and laugh at himself, we’re sure it’s only a matter of time until the Foo’s frontman hops in Corden’s car.

2) Mark Hoppus (blink-182)

The father of pop-punk, the face that defined a generation of music, and part of the coolest band of the last two decades. We’re sure Mr Corden would have no qualms rolling the windows down and belting out ‘All The Small Things’, and we know the public would love to see it.

1) Brendon Urie (Panic! At The Disco)

Brendon Urie succeeds at everything in life. Handsome, vocally flawless, broadway star… Do we need to carry on? Jealousy doesn’t suit us here at Drop This, so we prefer to opt for feeling admiration and awe instead. That’s why we know he’d absolutely smash his part in Carpool Karaoke, and he’d steal the show. In fact maybe Brendon Urie can drive the car too, and he can drop James Corden off somewhere; We’re totally okay watching Brendon just driving along and singing some tunes. (Do you remember his Vine account after all?)

Someone get in touch with James Corden and let’s see if we can make these happen! We’d love to know who you think would be great on Carpool Karaoke too. Let us know in the comments below.
