We’ve Got Our Download Festival 2018 Headliners – But Who Do We Want to Join Them?

We have recently had the news of next years’ Download Festival headliners, in the form of Avenged Sevenfold, Guns N’ Roses and Ozzy Osbourne. But who else would we like to see play this legendary festival next year? Here are just a few ideas…

New Years Day

American metal group New Years Day made their Download Festival debut back in 2015 – and have only been back in the UK a couple of times in 2016. With their energetic live performances and gut wrenching guitar riffs – these guys are ones to watch and we sure hope they make the line up for next year!

Hollywood Vampires

Seriously, what does it take to get these guys to play a show in the UK? Made up of Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp and Joe Perry, formed back in 2015 in honour of rock stars who died from excess in the 1970s. They’ve played some great rock festivals in the last couple of years, including Rock Fest based in Wisconsin, America. Having such well known and talented members in the line up, we’re sure they would bring a huge crowd with them at a live show.

Marilyn Manson

In recent news, Marilyn Manson has been added to the Download Festival France line up – which is lasting four days in instead of three (whaaatt?). We’d like a piece of that action and have Manson play for us in the UK too at this legendary festival.

Black Label Society

Rockers Black Label Society have not played Download Festival since 2014 – and we think it’s time for a comeback! Having recently announced a tour, and one of those dates being in the UK, there is a small chance they could come back and wow us in June too!

The Pretty Reckless

It goes without saying that we need to see some more women musicians play at Download, and this list has two of them! We haven’t seen them at Download Festival since 2014, and we sure do miss them! We think they’d make a great addition to the lineup.

Download Festival will take place on the 8-10 June 2018, and tickets are available now!
