The first wave of bands for the UK’s biggest touring alternative festival, Slam Dunk, has hit us, and it’s a pretty awesome announcement!
The 2018 dates will see Jimmy Eat World headline for their first appearance at the festival, alongside Taking Back Sunday, Sleeping With Sirens, Four Year Strong, State Champs and Trash Boat.
Slam Dunk Festival takes place over three dates in the UK across the May bank holiday weekend. Next year’s festival will see a few changes, as the South date, which usually takes place at Hertfordshire University on the Monday, will move to Hatfield Park for the Sunday date.
The dates for Slam Dunk Festival 2018 are below:
Saturday 26th May – Leeds City Centre
Sunday 27th May – Hatfield Park
Monday 28th May – Birmingham NEC
Festival organisers have also arranged a new payment plan for next year’s tickets (which are on sale now). Fans can now pay for their tickets in instalments, as well as the usual option to pay the full amount upfront. Afterparty tickets are also available for all three dates.
