Brit punk band Boy Jumps Ship are getting in the festive spirit, as they announce the release of a new Christmas single, ‘All Alone on Christmas‘, in the name of charity.
The single is a cover of the 1992 festive favourite by Darlene Love (which those of a certain age might recall from the classic childhood film Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, and the band have created a music video that pays a loving homage to the movie), and is being released in support of MIND, a UK mental health charity.
Speaking of releasing the single, Boy Jumps Ship drummer Gav Gates has said: “The whole idea of this project was just to have a bit of fun with some music and film that we love and join the two to hopefully create a great end product that ultimately makes people laugh and nod along, whilst raising some money for the MIND charity.”
You can download or stream the cover here, with all proceeds going straight to MIND.
MIND has been one of the UK’s leading mental health charities since its formation in the 1940s and offers a whole range of support for people suffering with many different aspects of mental health.
